Prior to this clip he notes that it was the right move for Garland to appoint a Special Counsel. It averts the argument that the investigation is politically motivated and can only speed up this long, drawn out process. He also pointed out that it's likely that the investigation so far is pointing to indictments in both the Jan. 6 and documents cases, an encouraging speculation.
I highlighted the segment on justice fatigue though, as we're all feeling it. It's taking so long to get justice for Trump's crimes and it seems like yet again those with power and money are immune from the system that would have long ago tried, convicted and imprisoned the rest of us. Kirschner, while feeling it too, is still optimistic that justice is indeed coming for this criminal. He sees the election results as pointing to we the people demanding accountability, and placing that responsibility on the Justice Dept. will ultimately pay dividends. I so hope he's right.
She rightfully lays into the liberal whiners who are too busy moping that we lost the House. These are the same people whose lives are relatively comfortable and who did little to nothing to help what wins we did have. If they are so concerned about the election results then get off of your complacent ass and fight like hell to see the kind of government you want. Be part of the solution instead of part of the problem.

Referring to the documents case. Said experts came out with a detailed memo of six crimes where there is strong evidence to charge Trump. DOJ has a history of prosecuting others for the same crimes. The report also goes through the defenses Trump lawyers have to date claimed and none of them hold up to scrutiny.
If the DOJ is about justice then there is no way they cannot prosecute as laid out in this memo. Thanks to these experts for clearly providing this roadmap. Now the DOJ has to do its duty to we the people and do it soon.
