Ana: Repugnantan Party hates our guts

So why TF do you want to work with them? Haven't we learned that they want to destroy us? That they hate the very democracy that we hold dear? They suppress and purge voters. They put children in cages. They take food out of children's mouths. They steal our money and give it to the rich. They teach cops to kill us. They incite followers to violence against us. They expose us to a deadly virus for the sake of making money.

Believing that some mythical peace and love will make things work out with them is akin to the beaten wife thinking her abusive husband is going to change if we just give him one more chance to kill us. Perhaps the Repug Party at one time was more reasonable and willing to meet us halfway. But to pretend it still is and that we should "work with the other side" in the name of unity and compromise is naive at best. And at worst its just  kowtowing to those who use that hope to further take advantage and abuse us.

No, Ana is not being mean here; she being realistic and we need to be too if we ever hope to defeat these monsters and save the democracy they are intent on destroying and our lives along with it. We need to use our anger at what they're doing to fiercely fight back, to protect something we hold dear and sacred. If we once again fall prey to the belief that if we just love and accept them then they will see that as weakness and use it against us time and again. Wake TF Democrats; this is a fight for our lives and our planet and we need to treat it as such.
