Lauren Maunus, Sunrise Movement Legislative and Advocacy Manager, brags that their org got Biden to put their climate, racial justice and renewable job creation mandate in his platform. And in so doing it is a testament that this is exactly the sort of agenda that wins elections (take note Pelosi). Now it's up to us to hold him to putting people in his Administration to implement that bold vision. Krystal, as usual, doubts Biden will follow through while Lauren is more optimistic that her group has enough organizational clout and tools to force the issues. It also depends on the rest of us getting involved to help in doing so instead of just casting aspersions that make us feel superior while accomplishing nothing.
