Kasparian on Obama's defund the police comments

Ana read the entire interview to put that comment in context. The context is that the interviewer was deliberately framing the questions to put the protest movement in a bad light. And Obama did not push back and take the opportunity to explain what is behind the slogan. At one point he did ask that protesters themselves frame their grievances in a way that could be more readily accepted. Ana points out that protesters have been doing exactly that since forever but they got absolutely no traction from the establishment. So Obama is being disingenuous because he is well aware protesters have been doing exactly what he recommends, but instead of defending them and their legitimate grievances he chose to instead, along with the interviewer, just criticize and marginalize them on the framing of one slogan. Ironically we really need to challenge him on his framing.
