Basically an organized group of regular people played with the corrupt short market to prop up GameStop when the big Wall Street crooks did a short that their stock would drop. Hence the regular people made a bunch of money and the crooks lost a bunch. So now the crooks are up in arms wanting to limit regular people from doing what they've done all along.
