See his article here. The bottom line is safety. It is the foundation of Maslow's hierarchy of needs, and without feeling safe all higher needs are put on hold. And the Repugnantan agenda has been to destroy that foundation economically to make us easier to control by blaming everyone else for their hardship instead the actual people and ideology responsible: corporations, the wealthy and their enablers in the Repugnantan Party. Given white America's downtrodden condition they are more susceptible to the lying misdirection of the power brokers thereby supporting their fascist agenda.
