Biden caves on the $15 minimum wage

Thereby breaking a key campaign promise. But why? If it's part of the Covid relief package through reconciliation it only requires a majority vote. So why not put it in there? We have to honestly ask why Biden would cave to Repug pressure on this when they're not needed to win this one. And please, not the 'unity' façade that we need to work with a Party that refuses to give even one inch to us.

Now Biden's excuse is that it should be a stand-alone Bill with a gradual increase up to $15. But as a stand-alone Bill that will require 60 votes to break a filibuster. And we know the Repugs will filibuster ANY minimum wage increase so it will never pass that threshold. And we also know that Manchin and Sinema will not vote to eliminate the filibuster so getting rid of it is out of the question. So once again we're left with an empty promise, which is exactly why we hate the government. And exactly why a fascist dictator like Twit happened in the first place. Here we f___ing go yet again.
