Latest CDC guidelines for fully vaccinated people

Dated 4/27/21. While we can "visit with other fully vaccinated people indoors without wearing masks or physical distancing," we still must "take precautions in indoor public settings like wearing a well-fitted mask" and "avoid indoor large-sized in-person gatherings." While "a growing body of evidence suggests that fully vaccinated people are less likely to have asymptomatic infection or transmit SARS-CoV-2 to others," however "further investigation is ongoing" and "vaccinated people could potentially still get COVID-19 and spread it to others." This is particularly concerning due to "reduced antibody neutralization and efficacy have been observed for the B.1.351 strain (originally identified in South Africa)."

As a social dancer I was at first thrilled to see this, hoping that I could return to dancing. And this might be the case for dancing with one of a few fully vaccinated partners in a private setting. But we still should not return to public dancing in a larger crowd. And yet I've seen videos where that is what some are doing now as if the pandemic is over and we can return to normal. Seriously, WTF is wrong with some people?
