They met via Zoom over the weekend and instead of backing down to Moscow Mitch they are planning on further action. As noted earlier, it's not so much that they oppose the big business takeover of government because that's exactly what they want. It's all the bottom line of consumer spending and profits.
But we'll be glad to take their pressure on those fascist lawmakers if it results in actually changing those laws. That's highly doubtful and it's more likely all a show to keep customers, but it does bring national attention to the issue which might inspire our national legislators to do something about it, like doing whatever it takes to pass the For the People Act in the Senate. I'm not holding my breath on that one either.

Also present was NFL owner Arthur Blank of the Atlanta Falcons. The upshot of the meeting is that top CEOs 'plan to get dramatically tougher' on state lawmakers who enact new voting rules. That could take the form of revoked contributions and scrapped plans to invest in factories and other projects."
