New CPC rules are explicit

Following up on this post, the very purpose of the new progressive caucus (CPC) rules is to create solidarity and vote as a block to implement its agenda. So they are flatly stating that is exactly their intention going forward, how it is going to work. As evidence, the CPC used their voting block to demand that inclusion of stimulus checks be in the Relief Bill or else they threatened to withhold their votes. They also used this power to demand changes to the PayGo rule.

Therefore it is disingenuous for some progressive apologists to use an excuse that we armchair quarterbacks just don't know how it works, that unless we're in their shoes we don't understand. They laid it out plain and simple what's in their shoes in the new rules. We know exactly what's on their mind and their stated intent of using the power of their voting block to get what they want.

Given those facts it's perfectly reasonable for we the people to pressure them to use that power to enact their, and more importantly, our agenda. They pledged to do it by the very means we are asking of them. So please don't complain about us doing it with excuses proven to be spurious by the CPC itself.
