The billionaire land grab

A native American responds to Bill Gates land grab. I appreciate this quote:

"Billionaire class assertions that they are philosopher kings and climate-conscious investors who know better than the original caretakers are little more than ruses for what amounts to a 21st century land grab – with big payouts in a for-profit economy seeking 'green' solutions."
It reminds me a lot of the various 'evolutionary' groups that also claim to be 'philosopher kings' who know better. Who are also vying to sell their intellectual products to make a buck with standard modernist ad campaigns featuring grandiose claims.
There is a lot of wisdom in the indigenous communities about living in harmony with nature and the land. Many of those values are reflected in the collaborative commons movement. And both are pretty much being ignored by the latest iteration of the enlightened saviors who strive to rule over all like Plato's Republic.

I'd add that this elitist attitude is exactly why Twitler was elected in the first place. And if we keep it up we'll get another fascist far worse the next time. The Repugnacon Party is already well on the way to suppressing the vote to the point of re-taking a majority. And rest assured, their next choice for President will be a far more competent figurehead for their fascist agenda.
