The Dem Party v. we the people on the Overton Window

What is the Overton Window? It is "the range of policies politically acceptable to the mainstream population at a given time." That's why I framed it as such in the subject line, as we the people are far more progressive than the Democratic Party. The latter though do their best to convince us that what polls repeatedly show we want just isn't possible. It just can't be accomplished. It's not how government works. 

They are certainly right on the last one, as this classic study shows big money always gets what it wants and leaves us paying for it in taxes. Don't let them decide what's possible. We must demand that they make it possible or we'll fire them. We'll hire more of those that won't take blood money, who will defend us and enact our policies. WE decide what's in the Overton Window, not the paid lackeys hiding behind their excuses while enjoying their bribes.
