Part of the spatial metaphor is misleading. E.g., we use left and right to name political orientations. That suggests that like our arms or legs both are necessary and must work together. And yet it misses the metaphor of health v. disease, or balance v. imbalance, where one is right and one is wrong. White male supremacy, like fascism, is not something to be negotiated or compromised with; it is wrong and must be defeated.
