PS: The lie Repugs use on this issue is that paying employees more will make them raise prices. That has been repeatedly proven false: Paying people a living wage actually increases money in the economy so that more people buy products, thus overriding significant price increases. Also employers save money in retaining workers instead of repeatedly hiring and retraining new workers, rampant in low minimum wage jobs. Such savings also feeds back into maintaining product prices.

Ruhle: If you want workers back, pay them more
Employers are complaining that they can't find workers now. And Repugs of course attribute it to they are lazy, and that the pandemic benefits are too generous which demotivates them. Ruhle points out that the pandemic benefits take account of the sort of money people need to live. And that that same metric should be used by employers, that is, to pay a living wage. If they want workers back then quit making excuses and pay them appropriately.
