According the the New York Times, Amazon's strategy is to eliminate long-term employees because they expect to receive raises and get lazier with time. Instead they encourage high turnover and give bonuses to workers who quit. Their turnover rate is among the highest. Their anti-union strategy also keeps workers in a powerless position. Isn't crapitalism great?
