Rising on Biden's call out

They see it as a positive, since Biden has long been associated as a centrist in the Party. And centrism, whether rightly or not, has been associated with the middle of where the American people are. So when Biden does something like calling out members of his own Party that means it is one of those centrist positions, thereby sidestepping the Repugs from trying to portray him as a radical lefty. It therefore adds pressure on Manchin and Sinema, who try to portray themselves as centrists. Joe exposes them not as centrists but as actually right-wing allies.
