Update: The CDC did note the following in their new guidelines, the first time I've seen this admission: "If you are fully vaccinated and become infected with the Delta variant, you can spread the virus to others."
Continuing this post and as expected, the CDC released their new guidelines (also here). And they are as noted in the previous post. So it gives an excuse for those areas not now in the high infection category to continue to keep the same vaccinated no mask policy without proof allowing the unvaccinated to also demask and spread Delta.
The CDC though included this: "The agency also recommends that all teachers, staff and students of K-12 schools wear masks, even if they are vaccinated." This is in contradiction to what the NM Dept. of Education released yesterday, saying that teachers and students in junior and high schools will not be required to wear masks. Will that change now in light of the new CDC guideline?
