Pfizer on Delta vaccine

Pfizer is asking for approval of emergency use of a 3rd shot of its original vaccine, as well as testing of a shot specifically designed for the Delta variant. They are basing this on Israel's experience that after 6 months the vaccine's effectiveness against getting the disease is reduced. It's backed up by a recent study in the journal Nature.
