Manikin complains that the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill spread out over 10 years costs too much. Why does he think that when it's a mere drop in the bucket compared to GDP? Because the pay-for mechanism requires corporations and the rich to only pay their fair share. And they are the ones bribing him to fight any tax hike on them. It's not any more complicated than that.
