Hartmann: Tax the rich for a healthy middle class

He provides a history lesson on taxation. When it goes up on the rich we can create a healthy middle class. When it goes down we regress into oligarchy. Sure, there are other factors involved but this is a key one upon which the others hinge. It's obvious where we are currently in the US. 

If we want to return to a functional middle class the solution is readily apparent. Which is why there are provisions in Build Back Better to address this by cutting tax loopholes, increasing the rates on corporations and the wealthy, and putting adequate money into tax accounting and enforcement. Hence why the oligarchs are fighting it by paying off the likes of Manikin and Dimena, let alone the entire Repugnacon Party. They hate the middle class and the democracy that goes along with it.
