About the Supreme Corp's 'shadow docket' star chamber. Per this article Alito is bemoaning that the public thinks the Supreme Corp is conservatively biased. This is especially so after the Corp, in its 'shadow docket,' refused to stay the new Texas abortion ban. Thing is, it's not just the public complaining about it but the liberal dissent in that case written by Kagan saying that the majority opinion:
"Barely bothers to explain its conclusion—that a challenge to an obviously unconstitutional abortion regulation backed by a wholly unprecedented enforcement scheme is unlikely to prevail. [...] In all these ways the majority’s decision is emblematic of too much of this Court’s shadow-docket decision-making—which every day becomes more unreasoned, inconsistent, and impossible to defend."
