Pascal on aggressive framing

I commented that in the framing war against fascism we needed to also engage in down and dirty tactics in the trenches to be effective. And that we needed to show we're willing to fiercely fight against that to retain our democracy. Too often liberals don't show that sort of spine, instead going off on egghead analysis as if that will move people to change. Whereas more people on the conservative side like to see their leaders engage with that sort of ferocity.  Layman then commented:

"There's another part to that which is a lot of those people appreciate aggression appreciate combat right they're very concerned about borders they lean into wars more than other people so those aren't necessarily great things but they're people who are looking for an aggressive stance in their representation which they often don't get from some of the people who have the better ideas about how to upgrade our system."
