He's demanding work requirements to qualify for the child tax credit which could deny the benefit to many who desperately need it. Meanwhile Manikin himself rakes in huge monetary benefits from tax breaks with no work requirement. He rails against entitlements for the poor and working class while supporting entitlements for the rich that amount to far more in public tax money. It is part of this sick, aristocratic mindset that the rich are somehow deserving of their drain on society while contributing nothing to it while the rest of us don't deserve anything while contributing so much.
Join the resistance: Do no harm/take no shit. My idiosyncratic and confluent bricolage of progressive politics, linguistic framing, the collaborative commons, next generation cognitive neuroscience, American pragmatism, de/reconstruction, dynamic systems, embodied realism, psychodynamics, aesthetics. It ain't much but it's not nothing.
