The US split into blue and red countries

I'm actually in favor of, and hope to live to see the day, that the US breaks into red and blue countries something like this article and below diagram. I'm tired of blue US wealth paying to prop up red poverty policies. Of course the blue country would welcome in all the people from the red country when they feel the horrendous result of their leaders. 

I'm not attached to this particular map but more the general idea. Here's another example.
