It's not just Manikin and Dimena

Yes, the Dem Party uses those two as scapegoats to pretend it's only them obstructing a progressive agenda. The Party is smart enough to read polls so know we the people support that agenda, hence their empty promises. And yet the Party as a whole is captured by the bribes too, which is directly why the progressive agenda is defeated time and again. We the people have caught on to this betrayal and lost faith in them, which in turn leads at least some in the working class to fall prey to an authoritarian, even fascist, leader and Party that is today's Repugnacon Party.

Krystal is far from alone in this meticulous analysis into Dem Party betrayal and our lack in trust in them or the democratic process. Or that as a result it leads directly to fascist support at the cost of democracy. She provides details of some of these major betrayals that are causing our lack of faith. And the most disturbing conclusion of all is that the Dem Party doesn't really care if the fascists take over, since they will still get their bribes, in essence being paid to pretend to be the opposition in order to placate we the people.

Now I don't include the real progressives in that scheme, as they genuinely want to help we the people. And yet they too are manipulated by Party politics in that they still give the Party the benefit of the doubt that they are acting in good faith. But the Party is not and we see time and again how it manipulates the progs with promises to get their capitulation on votes. The whole political system is rotten to the core and our dear progs keep wishfully thinking they can change it from the inside. And we the people keep believing they can but that faith is wearing thin to the point of threadbare.
