"A chiasmatic ontology, which is another name for naturalism, thus
calls for an agile or daemonic form of theory that is able to shift
between different paradigms of theory ranging from material analysis to
hermeneutic and semiotic investigation to phenomenology and
deconstruction. The daimons were intermediaries between the earth and
heavens. If agile theory is daemonic in its agility, then this is
because it shuttles between the three domains, halting in no one region,
and perpetually thinks their knotting in the formations of being-nature
within which all beings dwell without anything out-of-field" (44).
