Too many employers are greedy

Those are my words based on this NYT story. Employers complain of a labor shortage at the same time that they maintain part-time workers to save money on benefits. And they refuse to make most part-time workers full-time because in addition to the former the more full-time workers they have the more negotiating power those workers will have. Maybe even to the point of (gasp) forming a union! It's a sick but accepted business model where companies keep workers enslaved and in desperate need to prevent giving even an inch of control to them. Yet they still complain they cannot find workers. What a crock of shit.
