Some women are swooning over Zalensky because he is strong and fighting back to defend his country. Maher extends this into a commentary on how the movement against toxic masculinity, a real problem, has gone too far into emasculating men. Yes, he's as usual crude but he does make a valid point that sometimes a man must be strong and fight for what is right. Otherwise if he's too peaceful he will not just get emasculated in a privileged society but outright killed by atrocious forces hell bent on domination and destruction.
