According to a new study in the New England Journal of Medicine, "double-blind, randomized trial found it did not reduce hospitalizations even if taken early. [...] In fact, those who took ivermectin in the first three days after a positive coronavirus test had worse outcomes than those who took a placebo."
Dr. Andrew Hill, who initially thought ivermectin lowered the risk of COVID death, changed his tune based on this new study and the following. "When he removed retracted trials and others alleged to be flawed or fraudulent for a second review, published in January, he found no benefit."
I know, the rabid anti-vaxxers are so invested in their confirmation bias that this will just be seen as yet another brick in their wall of conspiracy theory. I just thought some of you might be interested in how medical science works and get proven, effective treatment if you get infected. And maybe get the vax if you haven't yet, which does have a proven track record.
