Continuing this post. Pomerantz was leading the Manhattan DA's investigation into Twitler, which until he resigned his team "harbors no doubt about whether he committed crimes—he did." And yet when new DA Bragg took over he decided not to indict, which Pomerantz called a "grave failure of injustice" that "will pose much greater risks in terms of public confidence in the fair administration of justice." It will also "doom any future prospects that Mr. Trump will be prosecuted for the criminal conduct we have been investigating."
So WTF is going on with this new DA? He claims there isn't enough evidence to present to the grand jury yet his former lead prosecutor, his team and the former DA certainly thought there was and were going to proceed. Something is drastically wrong here and it seems on the part of the new DA.
