Pocan defends CPC endorsing Brown over Turner

I heard Hartmann yesterday talking about this. He said Pocan was on his show defending the CPC's decision because Brown met all the criteria of belonging to the Congressional Progressive Caucus and is an incumbent. Then something must be seriously wrong with the new membership rules to 1) let such a corporate hack in and 2) to endorse her over a real progressive.

 

Jayapal on the new rules: "I just would rather have people who are really committed to the progressive caucus in the caucus and participating rather than sort of just having it as a label."

 

Uh huh, sure.
