NMDOH removes COVID breakthrough data

I had noticed this and this report confirms it. They used to weekly track the monthly number of cases, hospitalizations and deaths. But every week that report showed increasing numbers in all categories for the vaccinated. Of course they made an excuse for eliminating the reports. It seems more like those reports directly debunked the administration myth that it's safe to go party again.

"COVID-19 cases in New Mexico have ticked up 121 percent in about a month and plenty of those are breakthrough cases, according to weekly epidemiology reports. But we don't know how many. About a month ago the state Department of Health quietly removed from its weekly epidemiology reports data that compared the most recent four weeks of cases, hospitalizations and deaths among unvaccinated, vaccinated and vaccinated and boosted people. The removal of the breakthrough case data came as a greater share of people who were getting sick with COVID-19 had been vaccinated."

The last report with this data was issued for the period 3/21/22 - 4/18/22. You can see why they no longer want the public to have this sort of data.
