Excellent job of skillfully intermixing jokes with serious issues. His closing comment struck home for me when he thanked not only the big journalistic institutions but the small-time beat reporters around the country. 

I'd say that thanks also extends to the likes of us common folk who are also doing our part in social media, not only sharing the news corporate media ignores but also shaping the narratives necessary to defeat the forces of fascism and neoliberalism that have infected our corrupt government and lamestream media. Keep up the good work concerned and responsible citizens.
