See this article with a link to the entire poll. The answer to the following question about mass shooting was enlightening. They are "unfortunately something we have to accept as part of a free society" or "something we can prevent and stop if we really tried." The effects of the massive Repug propaganda machine are apparent.
"Almost half of all respondents who identified as Republicans, about 44%, said that shootings like the one in Uvalde are 'unfortunately something we have to accept as part of a free society.' Comparatively, 85% of Democrats and 73% of independents said mass shootings are 'something we can prevent and stop if we really tried.'"
The poll also had other interesting overall stats (The breakdown by Party is later in the poll): 60% want stricter gun sale laws; 64% think we don't have stricter laws because of the NRA or big donors; 81% favor a federal law for background checks on all gun buyers; 62% favor a ban on the AR-15; 72% favor a red flag law. Not that what the majority of we the people want has any effect on the pro-death Gilead Gestapo aka The Repugnaklan Party.
