Indigenous people call on Pope Francis to denounce Doctrine of Discovery

Continuing this post, so Enlightenment reason got the Doctrine of Discovery from the Catholic Church. Talk about cognitive dissonance. It'll be interesting to see if the Pope follows through. And if Enlightenment reason can address it's religious roots on this one. I have more hope for the former, which unlike the latter has shown a willingness to change in some regards.
