Some think that the hearings are not making a dent in Republican voters. Even this recent Morning Consult poll headlines it as "mostly falling on deaf ears." Let's take a closer look at some of its polling results to see if that is an accurate description.
"Compared with a survey conducted June 24-26,
the shares of Republicans who said Trump misled people about the 2020
election outcome (up 5 percentage points to 30%), attempted to overturn
the 2020 result (up 5 points to 45%) and claimed without evidence that
the last presidential contest was fraudulent (up 7 points to 44%) all
increased in the wake of Hutchinson’s testimony."
If by 'mostly' we mean 50%, sure. But these numbers are significant if they translate into how these Republicans will vote in the next two elections. It certainly is a margin that would lead to Twitler's and other Repugnaklans' defeat
The proper frame is that the hearings are having a significant effect on Republican voters. Therefore the hearings should be a key advertising campaign in the upcoming elections where we hammer home Twitler's insurrection guilt, as well as all of his Repugnaklan allies currently in or running for office. We should also keep up the attacks on that Party as fascist, which is what a growing number of old school Republicans are doing. We can beat these fascists if we relentlessly frame it properly.
