Earlier in this clip they discuss democracy and those who would thwart it in the US like Twitler. I just highlighted this short statement about how fascism is a world-wide phenomenon.
But Raskin and other Democrats must quit using the term 'autocracy' because it's a technical term that lacks emotional force. Call it what it is: Fascism. That word rightly elicits fear and disgust. And we need those feelings to motivate action against this assault on our cherished democracy.
