Repugnaklans believe fake voter claims

According to the NYT Morning Newsletter

"More than 100 Republican nominees for statewide office or Congress this year have falsely claimed that election fraud helped defeat Donald Trump in 2020. Almost 150 members of Congress — more than half of the Republicans serving there — went so far as to vote to overturn the 2020 election result."

All of course without the slightest thread of any supporting evidence. Instead they attack the very nature of factual evidence. They have learned that what is most important are the techniques of lying propaganda. It doesn't matter whether it's true; it only matters if it gets people to believe and act on it. And per above it's working on quite a few supporters, whose loyalty to and identification with an ideology, in this case fascism, is much more important than reality.

PS: As can be readily seen, such identity politics is highly effective. And yet some liberals are convinced that to engage in it themselves is not only counterproductive but even somehow degenerate. Once again they have been fooled by their opposition into shooting themselves in the foot for some intellectual head trip.
