Newsom on poor Democratic messaging

8 out of 10 Republican States have the highest murder rates. So why aren't Dems hammering this when the Repubs have made crime their top messaging item? Dems need to go on the offense in this and all other areas instead of playing it safe. He praises Biden for finally coming around to how the MAGAs are semi-fascist.

He said other Governors like what he'd doing and wish they could be that aggressive but they're afraid of appearing too combative during an election year. And yet that's exactly what voters want to see: Someone who willing to stand up and fight for what is right. We're up against fascists and if you can't stand strong against that then step aside and let someone stronger take up that fight.
