A beautiful guided meditation in Bruce's onto-choreography.
I encountered a similar metaphor when I was an initiate of Hermetic Qabalah, climbing the 'mountain' of the Tree of Life. I've since gone in a different direction: The image schema and metaphors of cogsci. I found that the majority if not the entirety of the hermetic qabalistic tradition interpreted the imagery literally and hence were on power trips with delusions of grandeur. Like superior 'chosen ones' similar to many in the meta/integral communities. The dangers of spiritual and developmental metaphysics.
It's why I appreciate Bruce's work, as it grounds the ideas to circumvent (circumambulate?) the hubris. The very idea of circumambulation tempers the notion of a linear scale up the ladder of development. The Temple of prepositional Khora is one that connects the various stations along the way so its syntegration lies more within the distributive tensegrity of the system rather than reaching the 'top.'
