Eastman's original plan was to get some State legislatures to submit fake electors to overturn their election results. That plan failed. So Harrupf and Eastman wanted Pence to lie by saying those States had indeed submitted said fake electors.
So now it appears that the Supreme Corp in Moore. v. Harper will make such a scheme legal, thereby invalidating the very foundation of democracy: The will of we the people via our votes. Where the coup failed the Coup Corp will succeed.
