Maher explains Santos

He explains him as feeding the confirmation bias of both Parties to the point of not checking the facts. And while we all can fall prey to this condition, once again he makes it a false equivalence argument. Repeated studies show that liberals are much more likely than conservatives to question their biases when presented with new information. So while liberals can indeed fall for it, it is far from equivalent.

PS: Note who is fact-checking Santos. And who is and is not reporting on it and demanding accountability.
