Luttig rebukes Pence on grand jury subpoena

Pence sought ultra-conservative Judge Luttig's advice during the certification of the 2016 electoral count. Now Luttig is openly rebuking Pence's lame excuse to not testify before the DOJ's grand jury. Luttig calls it a "dangerous gambit" and "embarrassing spectacle." He goes on to say that Pence's testimony relates to a possible crime under investigation, which trumps any claim to privilege. Luttig aptly noted that it is Pence, not the DOJ, who is politicizing the subpoena.

One might think that Pence's religious practice would motivate him to be forthcoming with the truth for the good of the country. But one would be wrong because apparently Pence's religion seems more of a front to hide corruption and criminality than a sincere call to God and country.
