The Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers are just two examples of armed groups intent on violent revolution. There are many more. And blocking laws that require people like that from having huge arsenals is tantamount to enabling that revolution.
And don't forget that Trumpler thinks of them as heroes and wants them to be his personal army in that quest. Waco was a rallying cry.
