Our native language?

It's weird that ignorant people assume English is a native American language when it obviously came from England. We fought a revolution to escape English control and yet we adopted their language as our own so we still unconsciously assume their worldview. The same ignoramus (or is that ignoranus?) no doubt knows zero Native American languages or the worldviews that created them.
