The future of AI is being programmed right now

In the TV show they are specifically referred to the future, advanced AI that has taken to arresting people based on their profile rather than whether they've actually committed a crime. But it also applies to this article in that we're already using disembodied, algorithmically logical codes, aka false reason, to prejudge people with disastrous consequences. Given our present we will indeed program that future AI to do the same.
