It's no secret; they are in the open about it. Thom discusses District Judge Doughty's ruling that the federal government is "legally barred — under threat of federal prison — from communicating with Twitter, Facebook, and other social media about lies and misinformation that 'conservatives' may have posted on those sites." The Misjudge claims it's about free speech, but what he really means is freedom to lie and manipulate the populace in order to win elections. Repugs want no part of facts and truth which obviously expose their lies.
And yet Repugs are the ones who are indeed using State governments to ban the free speech of those providing such facts and truth. This Orwellian reversal or reality is no longer the stuff of fiction but is playing out right in front of our faces. And yet Repugs demand that we ignore what is obvious, instead using propaganda to convince us our eyes and ears are lying to us.
No, we can see and hear just fine. It is you who are lying to us for your own warped plans of world domination. And we will fight you tooth and nail until democracy wins yet again and you are defeated into obscurity and irrelevance. We the people will prevail.
