According to this poll, currently 52% of Republican primary voters favor Trumpler. But when those same voters are asked if they'd support him if convicted, support plummets to just 35%. In a general election under the condition of a conviction, Biden retains 47% support while Trumpler fell to 38%.
This is very good news for democracy. If the vote spread remains as above it will be hard for cheating Republican States to suppress enough voters to overcome such a disadvantage. Especially so because Democrats will undoubtedly once again motivate increased registration and voter turnout. These trials and hopefully some convictions soon just might save us from fascism yet again.
