Season 2, episode 9 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is called Subspace Rhapsody. They are near a subspace fold and hypothesize that they can use it to send communications across the quadrant simultaneously. However repeated experimentation fails to successfully send or receive any communications.
Pelia gets the notion of sending music into it and Uhura selects Anything Goes. The fold likes it a lot and sends a pulse that transforms the ship's crew into singing their deepest desires and feelings at various turns. At first it's a hilarious plot twist but it develops into a touching, profound character study of the different crew.
While they all have a decent singing voice, a couple of them, particularly La'an and Uhura, are quite good and really belt one out. The music composition and lyric writing are also quite good. The Klingon crew song near the end it LOL funny. Being a song and dance man myself it is one of my all-time favorite ST episodes. Those not so inclined may feel differently.
