Will GA GQP succeed in removing DA Willis?

Georgia Repugnantcons plan to use a new law to remove her from office. It establishes a completely partisan hack commission to make that decision. It is ostensibly to remove prosecutors who refuse to prosecute certain offenses. But in this case they want to remove Willis for prosecuting someone they don't want prosecuted, namely Trumpler. 

The Public Rights Project has filed a suit against the new law with a preliminary injunction to prevent any commission action during pending litigation. It remains to be seen whether the Superior Court will grant the injunction which will mean the commission will likely remove Willis. At the very least it will delay her team's prosecution until a legal battle is settled over the new law and her spurious removal.
